The Sweet-Spot Solution: Software-Locked / Dual-Mode Top Speeds

You don't actually have to choose between a tame commuter and an uncontrollable rocket. Modern high-performance electric vehicles solve this with software profiles and geofencing:

Street Mode (Capped)

Out of the box for street use, the bike can be software-capped at a reasonable highway speed (like 75–85 mph) so it's street-legal, insurable, and safe for daily commuting with the open-source AI autopilot engaged.

Track / Unlock Mode (180 mph)

For closed circuits, private tracks, or ultimate performance modes, the rider can unlock the full raw power curve, letting the bike stretch its legs to that 180 mph superbike tier.
